In 2024, four Pune colleagues watched monsoon rains wash plastic bags from their neighborhood bins into the Mula-Mutha river. As Finance professionals who spent weekends hiking the Sahyadris, they refused to accept this as India’s reality. Their eureka moment came at a Vaishali restaurant, where leaking garbage bins contrasted with Pune’s progressive sustainability ethos. That night, RBAN Solutions was born at a Fergusson College Road chai stall.
